Twice now I've tried to post the results of a test I took, "Who Do You Write Like?" Both times the html didn't work, but I was surprised at the results. It said I write like Margaret Mitchell. Wow! I wish I could write a novel like "Gone with the Wind." I would be ecstatic. I've written a novel but try as I may, I've never been able to get it published. Maybe one day.
If you'd like to see who you write like, give it a try at this link. It's very interesting.
They say, patience is a virtue...but sometimes you just wanna ...well, never mind.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy you visiting with me...thanks for stopping by yesterday.
My Thursday Post Link: Nor-r-r-r-m!!!
I read your comment, and sometime soon, I'll find time to get back in my email...it'll be a busy time for us right now, we need to prepare for a tropical storm headin' right over our city this weekend.
Hello Mary, its good to see a post from you.
ReplyDeleteDid you read The Help? There was an article in one of my magazines with an interview with the author. I think it was Southern Living. It was a best seller and is now a movie coming out next month. I takes place in Mississippi where she grew up. Anyway, I was surprised when she said it was turned down over 50 times.
I have written several things for magazines and after they were rejected once or twice never sent them out there again. I guess I don't take rejection very well.
Keep on trying, Mary. I know you're a good writer. I am an avid reader so I know a good story when I read one.
