Show and Tell Friday

It's time for Show and Tell Friday. If you would like to participate, drop over to Kelli's at There's No Place Like Home.

I haven't taken part in a Show and Tell Friday for a while and thought I'd show you something that I hold dear. First of all, a bit of history. I love the images of old fashioned ladies in their Victorian dresses and big hats. I collect postcards with those images on them. So, one year for Christmas, my daughter found a tin plaque that had one of these images on it. She bought it and the boys gave it to me as a gift. This has hung on my wall now for 11 years and I cherish it as much or more today as I did back then.
It's a reproduction of an old advertising poster and it advertises chewing gum that was made by the Texas Gum Co. Inc. that was located in Temple, Texas. The image is one that I love and it hangs on the wall over my computer desk. I will cherish it always.

That's it for today's Show and Tell. If you'd like to participate be sure to follow the link to Kelli's at the beginning of this post.

Have a great weekend and take care. ~Blessings, Mary~
