Good morning, Everyone! I was able to get up early and find a computer easily. It's hard to get on one here, as it is free and so you have to wait in line most of the time. We went to Animal Kingdom yesterday and it was wonderful. We got up close to many animals that you wouldn't be able to otherwise. The boys went on the rapids ride and got soaking wet. Thank goodness it was warmer. It took them a few hours to get dry. They enjoyed the entire park, but we only saw about half of it. We're going back on Sunday, I think.

Today is Epcot. I haven't been there in 30 years, so expect it will be much different. People say that it's excellent. I'll let you know later.

Warmer Today

Hi Gang,

It's warmer today. Yay!!! We just wore sweaters at Animal Kingdom. We had a great time and tomorrow are headed to Epcot. The vacation is going quickly. There's lots to do everyday. I took lots of photos today so I could share our vacation with you when we get home. It's to be warmer again tomorrow. I hope you are all well. Thanks for dropping by and leaving comments. Good morning to all my friends and readers. It is 7am in a very chilly Florida. We are going to need our winter coats today with a cool 48 degrees and a brisk wind. That suits me better that 90 or 100 degrees. I guess I'm getting old. I just can't take that heat anymore.

We went to Sea World yesterday and the boys had so much fun. I have lots of photos to post when I get home for you all to enjoy. They actually updated our tickets when we were leaving so we get a free day there if we have time to use it. The boys loved it and said that in some ways it was better than Disney. I won't give away too much until I post the pics upon my return.

Today is Disney. Probably Magic Kingdom. We are all tired, but enjoying ourselves, eating excellent southern food and enjoying the wonderful hospitality.

Hello to All My Friends

Disney Glitters

We left on the 27th, as planned. Rain to Windsor/Detroit and a 2.5 hour wait at the border. The boys were bored at that point, but soon settled in once we were moving. We stopped for the night in Newport, KY and in the morning went to the Newport Aquarium on the Levee. We had a delicious breakfast at Mrs. Fields and lunch at Johnny Rockets, a 50s type diner. The boys enjoyed seeing what hamburger joints were like way back in Grandma and Grandpa's day.

We are currently staying about an hour from Disneyworld. We chose not to attend Disney on New Year's Eve because of wall to wall crowds. Instead we stayed in the hotel, had a swim and watched movies on the boys' portable DVD player. Tomorrow we plan to go to Sea World.

Just wanted to update everyone and let you all know that we are fine and have arrived safely. I will try to give you and update from time to time. I also want to check and see how everyone is doing, but computer time is limited here.
