Update on Josh

Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, Mom went to see Josh. They gave him an hour's worth of therapy while she was there and told her that he would be moving into a room to either today or tomorrow if things continued to go well. Unfortunately that is not the case. For some reason that we don't know yet, Josh had a seizure late this afternoon, after Mom had left. We don't know much more than that, but I will post an update as soon as possible.

A family member has been causing a lot of problems and has been doing so for years. Apparently she's found this blog and I'm considering going private. Please email me if you would like to be invited to my private blog. All my friends and readers here are important to me. You have all been a great support in my life since I started my blog in September 2008. How sad that people ruin it for others.

Please continue to pray for Josh. Your loving kindness and support, along with the prayers for Josh are very much appreciated.

What's Been Happening Here

Not a whole lot has been happening here. The boys came on Saturday and I took them to Se*ars to buy them Easter clothes. Jordan is real fussy about what he wears. Brandon is particular because certain fabrics irriate him. We didn't find a thing. LOL So much for buying clothes. So we looked around a bit in the mall and then came here and spent some time together.

Thank you to all who have commented on Josh's accident, for the prayers and positive thoughts. As of last night, there has been no change. He is still unconscious and I suspect that some of it is because the hospital staff is keeping him sedated. They did take him off of morphine and put him on Demerol. Both are very potent drugs. He is resting comfortably and breathing on his own. His sternum is cracked, which will make it very painful when he does awaken. He has a long road ahead of him, I fear.

Other than that, all is well. I'm tired from trying to keep my brother, Ed, and Mom focused on the positive. Everyone is doing as well as can be expected.

Thanks once again for all the positive words of support. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Monday, March 29

The weekend went by very slowly. The boys came on Saturday and that helped time move along. We went shopping to see if there were any clothes they'd like for Easter. We didn't find anything that they liked or needed.

Brandon is not a cloths shopper. Jordan on the other hand, is. When Jordan sees something he likes, I try to get it for him, as he is very picky about his clothes. Brandon not at all. I always take me with them if I'm buying clothes. Certain fabrics drive Brandon crazy, which is caused from the autism. He can't stand the feel of them on his skin, so there's no use buying them and torturing him. Jordan on the other hand is just plain fussy.

As far as an update on Josh, there is no change. I appreciate all your kind words, love, support and prayers.
