Wednesday, January 2

Good morning to all my friends and readers. It is 7am in a very chilly Florida. We are going to need our winter coats today with a cool 48 degrees and a brisk wind. That suits me better that 90 or 100 degrees. I guess I'm getting old. I just can't take that heat anymore.

We went to Sea World yesterday and the boys had so much fun. I have lots of photos to post when I get home for you all to enjoy. They actually updated our tickets when we were leaving so we get a free day there if we have time to use it. The boys loved it and said that in some ways it was better than Disney. I won't give away too much until I post the pics upon my return.

Today is Disney. Probably Magic Kingdom. We are all tired, but enjoying ourselves, eating excellent southern food and enjoying the wonderful hospitality.

I will try to update you all again.

Love and blessings, ~Mary~

  1. Good Morning Mary,
Yes, my friend, it is a very cold morning here. They said on t.v. that it would reach Florida as well and they have been talking about it damaging the Orange crop. I'm glad yall are having a good time. I so look forward to seeing all the pictures you have taken. Isn't Southern Food the best? LOL. I don't like the heat either. I'm beginning to where I can't take the cold either. Guess I'm going thru some kind of hormonal change or something. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

    Love & Hugs,
    Karen H.

  2. Mornin' dear Mary!!! I'm so glad you dropped by as I would never had known you were posting on your blog while you're away on vacation.

Sounds like you all are having one terrific time!!! That's good. Tell the boys I like Sea World much better than Disneyworld too. A whole lot more. But of course, Disneyworld isn't where we went, we went to the west ---Disneyland!

Can't wait for the photo slideshow! I just can't wait.

Enjoy the rest of your time away from the cold [by the way, I have a really good friend that lives in Windsor!!!]

Out of habit I dropped in and found you are posting some from the south.
I loved Sea World over Disney also but each have their spectacular points.
So glad you are enjoying the southern fare and if you can find any be sure to have some fried green tomatoes.
Gotta run and get the last of the company off.
    Peace
Oh it was 13.8 degrees on the hill this morning.

  11. Glad y'all are having a good time, Mary. Don't overdo it, though.

Yep, it's cold in the South right now! It's 20F and headed down into the lower teens tonight according to our weather geek. Y'all bundle up and stay warm, although it's probably still a lot warmer there than it is in Canada at your home.

Have fun and take lots of pictures!

    Love and hugs,

    Diane

  14. Sounds like you are having fun. The weather will warm. It was -38C here last night so you are lucky to be there rather than here in the Great While North.
