We took our coffee and went back to where Pea and Steve were staying. When we got there, I gave her the Pay it Forward gift that I owed her. Pea will have photos of that on her blog. She had a gift for me and when I opened it, it was a beautiful fairy. Thank you so much Pea. I will treasure it forever and am in the process of making a place for it in my china cabinet. Until then, she keeps me company on my desk. I love her. Your choice was perfect.
Then we all decided we were a bit hungry so we took off to Montana's. Here is Pea, myself and Dwight outside the front door. Steve done the honors of taking the pictures.

Pea and I sat together and Steve and Dwight sat across from us. We were having such fun and getting to know each other just a little bit better.
The guys were having fun as well. Steve is a cut-up and lots of fun. He had us all in stitches.
Our waitress was very attentive and after we had eaten she offered to take a photo of the group. Here we are enjoying time together.

After dinner, hubby had to go home and get some sleep for work. I stayed with Pea and Steve and we went to a park nearby. It was just getting dark. Here Pea and I are standing on the deck that looks out over the lake.
Once again, Steve did the honors. Thank you, Steve.
Then I asked Steve to step up beside Carole so I snap their picture. By this time the mosquitoes were beginning to eat us alive and we decided to head back to their room. We picked up a coffee and spent a couple of hours shooting the breeze. We learned a lot about each other and had a GREAT time. Thank you, Carole and Steve. It was as if we had known each other all of our lives. I'm hoping that we can meet again soon. I certainly enjoyed it.
When I got home, I took a photo of the box that my beautiful fairy came in. Then I gently removed her from the tissue she was wrapped in.
Here she is. I haven't quite figured out a name for her yet. How did you know, Carole, that my favorite color was green?
Here she is from the back. Aren't her wings lovely. She is on my desk for now, but will be moving to my china cabinet where she will be more protected.

Carole and Steve also brought gifts for Brandon and Jordan. The boys loved them and now that they are all together, I have to get some photos to post.
I'm so glad that I decided to start blogging again after a year at another site, which I left because there were too many rude and crude people. Blogger has brought me many good friends over the past year. I will have been blogging here exactly one year on September 8th.
Have a wonderful week and remember to take time out to enjoy the company of friends and family. ~Blessings, Mary~

Good Morning Mary,
ReplyDeleteI thought I better come by to visit while I was in the area. LOL. I am so glad you finally got to meet Pea and Steve. Looks like yall had a wonderful time together and really enjoyed each other's company. The Fairy that Pea gave you is just beautiful. Green is my favorite color as well. I was just over at Pea's and seen her pictures from Niagra Falls. I would love to go there someday myself. It looks so beautiful. I have only seen pictures of the Falls and they are just stunning. I put up a new post this morning and gave an update on hubby. I am going to do my best to get back into the swing of things again. LOL. It may take a while, but I will come around. Also, "CONGRATULATION'S" on your great-grand nephew. I read your previous post as well and he is so precious. Our baby girl turned 10 on Sunday. They do grow up fast. Take care my friend and have a great day. May GOD Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Okay, now I'm jealous! But I'm happy that you met Pea. And I love the Faerie. She is beautiful. I think you should name her after the gifter.
ReplyDeleteI guess you came to visit me shortly after you began this blog, then because my blogaversay is in November and you won my give-away. Thank you for all your prayers. How is your renovation coming?
Mama Bear
How completely lovely to have met. It's really amazing how we meet blog buddies and it seems as though we've known each other for years. It was that way when I met Linds in England this summer. I'm glad you all had such a great time.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteHow very super that you all were able to get together. Carol seems like such a sweet person, she always leaves the best comments on my blog, as do you.
Love the fairy, lovely shade of green sort of an aqua. Thank you for sharing pictures and story with us.
