Tarryn protesting being taken out of a nice warm, cozy place and brought out into the cold world.
Dad holding Tarryn minutes after the was taken by C-section. He looks tiny in Jack's arms, but weighed in a 9 lbs 5 oz and 22 inches in length - a good sized baby.
Tarryn bonding with his mother not long after birth. Of course both of Tarryn's parents were very proud and rejoicing because he was fit as a fiddle.

Mom, Dad and Tarryn. Melissa looks really tired and still a little out of it but glad to have her photo taken with the newest arrival to the family, as was Jack.
Oh, Tarryn already has a Winnie-the-Pooh. It was given to him by Great-Grandma, my mother. He looks cozy and warm in his bed with his beautiful hat on to help him retain his body warmth. These hats are made by volunteers and given to each new baby.
A beautiful little boy and a younger brother for Griffyn. Isn't the blanket the cutest? This was made for him by my mother. She spoils all the new babies.

I do hope you enjoyed seeing these photos. What lovely keepsakes for the entire family, including Tarryn.
Have a great Sunday. Today is Jordan's birthday party and after that, hubby and I are going to meet Pea at Pea's Corner and Steve. I can't wait. It's going to be a great day. ~Blessings, Mary~

I could tell by that first picture that he was a big boy! My youngest brother weighed the same and is now 6 feet 5 inches tall - with size 13 or 14 feet!
ReplyDeleteI like to welcome your new little great grand nephew and wish the best for his family for years to come.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you enjoy your visit with Pea and Steve.
I enjoy visiting your and her blog.
Coffee is always on so when you get a chance stop on over.
Happy Birthday to Jordan!!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with Pea. Give her a hug for me.
And I loved all the photos of Tarryn and his 'birth' day! What a hunk already! [love the yellow for his cap too...I get so tired of seeing pink and blue all the time...yellow just is so much more new and fresh looking like a new baby!!]
Great generation photo.
Enjoyed my visit.
Have a wonderful Sunday my friend.
I'll be thinking about your meeting with our favorite Pea!!
How sweet is he!! His parents must be overflowing with joy. Oh and just think how blessed that little guy is to have you in his life too.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world, Tarryn! I really like that last picture. Such a happy bunch to have a new little one joining them!
ReplyDeleteNice photos and I especially like the one of the 4 generations. My Mother always made the Grand Kids blankets, clothes and quilts. Also doll clothes. She made me a bunch of baby doll clothes, before she got sick in case a little girl came along. I am saving them for Puppy children and maybe he will have the little girl. Peace and sounds like you will be having lots of fun today.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet sweet photos of baby Tarryn! He's a nice big, healthy looking boy!
ReplyDeleteThinking of both you and Pea today as you meet! Have loads of fun!
xo

ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little one. I do love the name too. He was a very large baby I think. My largest was 9 lbs 1 oz and I had a hard time birthing him.

ReplyDeleteIt is kind of sad that we are finished with babies in our family until the grand babies start coming along.....and that had better be a long time away!:)
He was just about the same size as my son when he was born. Doesn't he look so healthy. I loved seeing the photos. Your sister looks so young!Blankets, hats and books for newborns have been some of my club's projects.
