Prayer Requests

Prayers are needed for the following people:

Deena at Can I Be Pretty in Pink. Deena is battling cancer. Please pray for all of her needs to be met.

Carolyn at Talk to Grams has just had stints put in her leg and she had a rough time after the surgery. She has to go back during the first week of November to have the other leg done. Please pray for a much less difficult experience.

My Aunt May is suffering a lot of pain from her cancer. She hasn't returned my calls, so I know she is going through a difficult time. Pray that her pain will be relieved.

Melissa and her boys. Their home was broken into and ransacked. Her rent money for next month was stolen and many things are missing. Please pray the insurance company will reimburse her for all that she lost. However, it will not reimburse cash, so she does need prayer for financial aid.

So many others. A little girl three years old named Abby who is also fighting cancer.

Those who have lost their jobs and are out of work.

People who have no food and don't know how they are going to feed their children.

The homeless.

For God's Will to be done in the upcoming US election.

Please pray for leaders around the world. Every country in the world needs pray.

For all the bloggers who are experiencing illness, family problems, financial woes, the death of a loved one.

Anyone else you can think of to pray for. This is just a very small example of the people who need prayer. If you know someone who is in need of prayer, please leave a comment and I will add them to my prayer list.

~Blessings, Mary~

  1. Prayers are being said dear, love you.

  2. Oh Mary how great of you to share these needs. And thanks so much for asking others to add thier needs. You are a Blessing.
I just put up More than a Friend.
I really enjoyed your post last week. And don't forget to email me your address so I can mail your package.
    Come on by tomorrow.
    Many Blessings and prayers,

  3. So many needs. But - we have a great God that listens to each one!

  4. So many prayer needs. It seems overwhelming at times. Please pray for Kristen Thursday especially! And my dad had a mini stroke last week and is coming back from terrible weakness.

I'm with you on fall - the longer it lasts, the better. If you'll look carefully at the picture of Feisty holding Emma's arms up, you'll see the same little scarecrows that Anni sent you!

  5. I wil add all to my list.Hugs and His blessings.

  6. Good prayers, Mary! I know how concerned you are for your Aunt too so will be saying some extra ones for her.

  7. Melissa? Her stuff stolen? How heartbreaking!!! I wish we bloggers could all get together right now, and have a bake sale to raise some money for her rent this month. How tragic.

And your Aunt May...oh dear, she has suffered so.

I have been wanting to send Grams an e-card, been thinking about her daily and just keep forgetting to do it...thanks for the reminder!

You're heart is always in the right place dear Mary! You're so so caring and giving!!!

  8. I’ll definitely add each of these names to my prayer list. Thanks for bringing their needs to our attention. I’ve been praying about the US election for MONTHS and months … and for peace in the world for decades. Methinks praying for world leaders is something each of us can do regularly and that it DOES, in fact, make a difference.

I’m celebrating my 1st Blogoversary TODAY at Small Reflections and tomorrow at Sacred Ruminations. How time flies! Hope you’ll drop by if time permits.
    Hugs and blessings,

  9. Thank you for sharing your prayer list. I will add them to mine

  10. My prayers have been added to those of the others, dear Mary. Wouldn't it be wonderful if one day no prayers would be needed for the poor and suffering...unfortunately, in this world of ours, I think prayers will always be needed. How very sad to hear that Melissa's house was ransacked...I could never understand how anyone could go into someone's home and do that. xoxo

  11. Mary the girls I pray on the way to school-I always say a word about "Mary's requests".
