When I saw this mother bunny with her baby bunny, I fell in love with her. I thought the pair looked very natural.
On the shelf right next to her were these three little fellas. It looks like they all belong in the same family.
These had been marked down by half and then there was a sign that said they were half off again. A real Easter bargain and for about one third of the original price.
Hubby asked me what I was going to do with them. I told him they were perfect for Easter decorating. If I decide not to keep them, I can always give them to Mom. She loves bunnies of all kinds and has a huge collection that she puts out each year at Easter. Or, since they are resin, I can always use them for garden ornaments. Time will tell if the bunnies continue to live at my house or if they find a new and loving home.
Another hot and humid day here but not as bad as yesterday. Apparently it is to stay hot and humid for at least a couple of weeks. Not my kind of weather but normal for August in this neck of the woods.
We've had two humid but rainless days. But it looks ominous right now.
ReplyDeleteThe bunnies would be wonderful peaking out from a bush or tree..outside!!
ReplyDeleteWe had our 100+ days last week. No rain...but muggy. It's not fun! It was hard on the garden.
Stay cool!!
I love the mommy and bunny. It was very hot here on Sunday. I picked berries and had to stop a couple of times because of the heat. Today it was still hot but with scattered storms.
ReplyDeleteThese bunnies are so cute! I wish I can find the same deals you found. :)
ReplyDeleteJust think. In a few months, folks will be wishing for hot and humid over snowy and cold, yes? I like those little bunnies and they would look cute in with your flowers or vegetable garden.
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely Mary - one thing about summer that I do not like is humid days etc.
ReplyDeleteMary, Mary, Mary!! You brought them all home with you? How sweet is that? They're adorable! And they'd look fantastic amongst your flowers in your yard or in your veggie garden!
ReplyDeleteLove 'em.
Interesting that you were thinking Easter. I finished work on my stuffed bunnies yesterday. I began on these before Easter. They turned out so pretty. I have several UFOs. I tend to start something and then move on to something else. The Bunnies had been sitting on my work table all this time. I had gotten as far as stuffing them and then quit.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing I did yesterday was repair a set of chimes which Daddy made for me years ago with Lucite, pipes, chain, wire and fishing line. The fishing line had deteriorated and all of the pipes had to be restrung. It had been laying on my table since the move in May. I'm glad I got it back up. It means much to me.
I was able to close on the refinance in the afternoon. We were able to get our mortgage payment down by a couple of hundred. Much easier to handle during retirement when it comes.
Have a blessed day,
Mama Bear
Neat buy girl!
ReplyDeleteIt has been hot here too...but I have to remind myself that it is not as hot back in La.
Dee was telling me that ya'lls weather has been cool and rainy...so I guess the change will be a nice welcome before the cold sets in.
Have a great day!
Those bunnies are so adorable and yes indeedy, a darned good buy too!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here on Sunday -we had tornado warnings and learned yesterday that a tornado had indeed touched down in the northern portion of our county. Last night, more storms and some more warnings too.
Now -here's a warning of sorts for you - stop by my blog and pick up a long overdue award I have given you!
My first thought when I saw the bunnies was that they would look wonderful admist your flowers:-) They really are gorgeous and the price sure was right!
ReplyDeleteIt was very humid here on Sunday and the same yesterday but today it's a bit more pleasant and although the day started off cloudy, now the sun is shining:-) xoxo
