Lest We Forget!

In Remembrance of all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice that we might live our lives in freedom. Today, I will remember them. I thank them for their service. I also remember these family members for their active service.

Frederick Willson - my father
William Willson - my uncle, who landed at Dieppe.
Bertram Willson - my uncle who helped to liberate Holland
The Tollhurst Brothers - cousins who participated in the Battle of Vimy Ridge

Please take time to remember. Attend a Remembrance Day or Veteran's Day service. If that isn't possible, please be sure to watch the services on TV. Lest We Forget!!!

  2. We have several military veterans in my family too, including my Daddy who helped rebuild Pearl Harbor and then fought on Okinawa during WW2.

    May we never forget.

Thank you for your concern and your prayers for Lamar, Mary. They are much appreciated, dear friend.

    Love and hugs,

    Diane

  8. Saying "thank you" to all these men and women, past, present and future, doesn't seem to be enough. One can't even imagine the sacrifices they've made. I've had the tv on the history channel and it's been all about the various wars with film footage from WW1 and WW2, very fascinating! xoxo
