Easter Day

I hope all my friends and readers had a very Happy Easter. On Saturday Mom had her big dinner. We had ham and all the trimmings. It was delicious, as always.

Sunday was quiet here. Hubby and I went to the fleamarket and looked around and then went for a short drive. It was cooler today than it has been, but still a beautiful day.

Mom went to my sister's last night. She lives in the same city where Josh is in hospital, so they went to see Josh. My sister can't get in, but took Mom. There has been some changes since I last posted.

Last Tuesday, Josh had a set back and had a seizure. That worried us all of course, but today the nurse says there has been a few changes for the better. He sometimes responds when the nurses ask/tell him something. He opens his eyes briefly. His right hand, that had been icey cold since the accident was warm. He moves his left leg apparently but not his right.

The nurses are hoping for him to wake up now, so he's no longer getting the heavy sedation that he was.

Thanks to all who have been praying. This good news was a wonderful blessing to our family.

NOTE: I've decided for the time being that Mrs. Nosey is not going to make my blog go private. I will just have to be more cautious about what I post.

  7. We had a great Easter week - the weather was better on Saturday and Sunday than in years, but still not very warm.

Glad for news about Josh, and also that you've decided to stay public - private is a pain!

  8. Sounds like we almost had the same kind of weekend...Easter dinner on Saturday and relaxing on Sunday:-)

Wonderful news indeed about Josh. Any kind of improvement has got to be good, no matter how small!! My prayers continue for him.

I'm glad you've decided to keep your blog open, Mary. That person is not worth you losing friendships by going private!! xoxo

  9. I'm glad to hear that Josh is showing some signs of improvement, Mary.

Please don't let one nosey troublemaker ruin your blogging enjoyment, Mary. If you do decide it's necessary to go private, please send me an invitation. I'd hate to lose contact with you.

    Have a great new week!

    Love and hugs,

    Diane

  12. Good to hear yawl have had some encourging news about Josh. Bless him, as he has a long way to go but with loved ones and prayers he will know how much he is loved. Sorry to hear about the family member who has too much time on her hands so she harasses others. Just remember every family has one somewhere lurking to make life miserable. I am glad you plan not to go private. I notice you are still losing and I think that is absolutely fantastic. You go girl. Peace
