 good-morning Glitter graphics
Myspace Hi5 comments

There's been a lot going on this week. It's been so busy trying to get everything done. Not half of it got done. I just kept running out of time.

Pre-op Update:

Everything is looking good. Surgeon told me that there is nothing wrong with my heart and that I'm a healthy person. Seems that 4 arteries just need to be replaced. LOL I got a kick out of that. What he was saying is that other than clogged arteries, there is no disease or damage done. Good news!!!

My surgery time has been changed from 8am EST to 1pm EST on Monday. I would rather it was 8am, but guess that is not to be. I just want it over and done with.

Thanks to all who have commented both here and on FB. I appreciate your prayers, loving concern and cheery comments. Keeps me going.

Lost another pound this week, which suits me fine. I won't be eating for a couple of days, so maybe I will lose a couple more.

Dwight will try to keep you updated here. Otherwise, I will have him write to Anni. I haven't asked her yet, but possibly she can update you.

Have a wonderful and safe weekend.

  2. I'll be praying and watching for updates. Don't be surprised if you end up gaining weight next week. Even though you aren't eating, they give you lots of IV fluid and it seems people often end up with a gain, but it comes off easily.

  5. Ya, I agree with Mari...you may end up gaining. Those IVs ARE nourishing.

Glad to hear that your heart is 'healthy'. That makes it easier for your recovery after surgery.

Good luck...I'll keep you in my thoughts.

  6. Mary,

What great news that your heart is in good shape and that you are in good health. You are such a dynamo with four clogged arteries - you'll be a super dynamo once they are repaired!

You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

    Love & Hugs,
    Tina

  7. That is good news. I'll be praying for you and for the surgical team doing the procedure. If you want to have him email me that would be fine, too. I check my email several times a day. But I guess Anni has your password and can post on your blog.
    Blessings and love,
    Mama Bear

  8. You're in my thoughts and prayers daily, dear Mary. I'll be watching your blog and Facebook page for updates on your recovery.

Don't worry about things that are left undone. What truly needs to be done will happen, and those other things will wait until later or will take care of themselves. Just concentrate on getting yourself well again!

    Much love and big hugs,

    Diane
