Update on All my Loved Ones

It seems things happen quickly around here. My brother let us know last night that Josh is stirring and blinking more. Though he isn't conscious, they are moving him this morning to the Head Trauma Unit.
JoAnn is doing much better. She finished her radiation yesterday, which is awesome. She is feeling better and is moving forward. She will have a check up at the end of May.
As for myself, Friday is pre-op and Monday at 8am EST I will be having quadruple bypass surgery. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.
On a lighter note, I am taking orders for crocheted dish/wash cloths. This is how I'm planning to keep sane while in hospital. If you'd like me to make a set for you, just let me know in the comment section and leave 2 color choices.
Have a wonderful day. Life if moving forward and blessings are being received.

  1. Dearest Mary,

Great news to hear that Josh is showing some signs of improvement, prayers that it will continue that way. Also great to hear about JoAnn, she will no doubt be very happy to be done with the treatments!!!

You know my prayers will be with you when you go in for surgery on Monday. Steve & I are heading for NF on Friday and coming home on Monday, hopefully Dwight can update your Facebook to let us know how your surgery went. Thinking of you and sending you big hugs across the miles. xoxo

P.S. We'll be doing the Freedom Trail so quite looking forward to that!!

  2. Mary,
you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as will your family and friends. I hope your hubs will post a short update here since I am the only person currently not of Facebook!
What a wonderful idea to keep those hands busy and your thoughts under control. I would love to order a set of dishclothes/towels. I am one who loves the greens, so any two shades of green will work for me. Let me know the details, etc.
You take care and know I hold you near to my heart. All will be well...jj

  5. Mary,

I'm so happy to hear the good news about Josh and Joann! I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't realize you were going to have bypass surgery. I'm sure it will go very well! I also hope Dwight will have a chance to update us. I know he will be tired, so when he can, it will be appreciated.

I would love to order a set of dish/wash cloths. Yellow or lavender would be fine.

You are always in my thoughts and prayers, my friend.

    Love & big hugs,
    Tina
