Well, I went to bed, read for a bit and prayed to our heavenly Father for those on my prayer list. I would appreciate it if you would include these people on your prayer list as well.

Our friend, Deena, at Can I Be Pretty in Pink. Deena is writing about her journey with breast cancer on her blog and she has had a pretty rough day today.

Karen at Karen's Korner. Karen and her family had a very tough year in 2007. Please pray that they will be abundantly blessed in 2008.

Kathleen Marie at The Open Window. She has been experiencing pain, so let's lift her up in prayer.

Grams at Talk to Grams. She is experiencing pain in her arm.

Mary at Isabella's Closet. Mary has been very ill and is still not fully recuperated. She saw her doctor today but only posted the positive aspects of her visit.

BJ at Sweet Nothings. She was scheduled for surgery that was postponed several times but I do believe it went through on Tuesday morning.

Denise at Shorty Bear's Place. Denise has many health issues and is a diabetic. Her blood glucose levels are high and she is experiencing pain.

My daughter, Michelle. She is having a hysterectomy on February 19th and is still working part time. She has a very large cyst and is very tired, working and looking after the boys. Please also pray for the boys. They are having a hard time with the fact that Mom is not well.

For Glen, who was in a car accident just before Christmas. His kidneys keep shutting down and they can't seem to get them functioning properly.

Mom, who is still fighting the lung problem. She just gets a little better and then has a relapse. Mom is 80 and I worry about her health. In the last year she has begun to look very frail.

If I have forgotten anyone, my apologies. Just let me know and I will add you to the prayer list.

Thank You, Denise, for sending me this lovely graphic. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

  8. First......a very BEAUTIFUL gift from Denise. I love it.

And I also love your new 'autism' graphic at the top too. That is wonderful Mary.

Your mother, especially, is at the top of the prayer list dear friend....to watch and have to be a child, no matter what the age, your parent relapse and look frail and slowing down with their lives....it's just too hard to handle sometimes. I went through it with both my folks and it's the most difficult part of life if you ask me.

Now, I gotta go catch up on your yesterday's blog...it's too busy around here for some reason. LOL

    Have a terrific Thursday.

  9. I will join you in prayer-and I will add you to the list. I am sure your daughter will be really glad to have you there with her during this time.
And I know your Mom is glad to be able to count on you too.
I pray He strengthens you mightily.

I do believe prayer is one of the strongest things we can do for one another
BUT I believe he answers our prayers the way it is meant to be and not what we ask for sometimes.
As long as we add them to our prayers God will do what is best in his eyes.
    Peace

  11. Dearest Deena,

I love you so. You are a tower of strength praying for others when you are so in need of prayer yourself.

Mom is feisty and doesn't let anything stop her from doing what she wants to do. I've asked her to take it easy for a couple of months but there is no way. She lives life to the fullest. Though she is fighting this lung infection, she has gone to prayer meeting at the church this morning and then is off to visit my niece and her great grandson until Saturday. The doctor gave her more antibiotics yesterday and she is feeling better this morning. LOL I wish I had half of her energy.

    Love you, my friend.
    Blessings,
    Mary

  12. Anni,

I had no idea I would be adding the autism graphic to my blog. I came across it last night and thought it was beautiful. Thanks for your kinds words. The graphic that Denise at Shortybears sent me is a wonderful graphic and it brightens my day. I thought I would share it with everyone.

I remember seeing my grandparents become more and more frail and it wasn't easy. Dad died suddenly but I can see Mom failing a bit this last year. Yes, it is difficult, but definitely part of life.

Thanks so much for your wonderful visit. I always enjoy your comments.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  13. Sharon,

Thanks so much for adding me to your prayer list. I am still tired from the vacation. We walked miles, which was good for us and we had fun, but it caught up to me when I got home. I'm like that. I tend to be strong while things are going on, but when they're over, I'm exhausted.

I know it's going to be hectic around here with Michelle being ill and Mom needing a little assistance from time to time. The prayers are greatly appreciated.

    Love and blessings,
    Mary
