The following scenes are all of the park across the street. This is a beautiful place to spend time in any season. We have considered moving several times and this park has always been the reason that we've decided against it. There is so much green space here. I wouldn't want to be boxed in between houses. Wherever I've lived, I've always made sure there was ample space. Mostly I've owned corner lots and still do.
The park looks much like the above picture at the present time. There will be lilacs blooming and I will try and get out to get some photos. However, it's supposed to rain for a few days. I'm not sure the lilacs will still be there.
The park looks like such a beautiful place. I can see why you like to be close to it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments today. I thought of you and Meeko several times as we went through this.
Hello Mary, Sorry you were having problems with the email. Nice house pictures. I have entered you in the contest.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening.
So beautiful sweetie.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely pretty place to be in, no wonder you haven't wanted to leave.
ReplyDeleteYes, if I couldn't live in the country, I'd want to live across the street from a park like that too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park! I would love to just stroll and enjoy each season.
ReplyDeleteStunning!!!! The parks around this city leaves a lot to be desired. You are right by not wanting to move away from there...I would be there most all the time I think.
ReplyDeleteWe all need a spot of green and fresh air to enjoy. Our lilacs are almost finished. In spite of the coolish spring, they came to a peak last weekend and are rapidly fading. What a glorious week of blooms though, even if it happens only once a year.
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed to be so near to such a beautiful spot. We are close to a park, but it is nothing like that. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day! We're having clouds again today - 4 days straight now. Lots of rain on Monday. Everything is so green and nice, but I wanted sunshine today for Care Bear's field day at school. For me, more than for her!
You are smart and blessed, and you should have called your dog, Parker.
ReplyDeleteOh Mary! What a gorgeous park! Those pictures are absolutely awesome too!
ReplyDeletethe picturs remind me of how a couple of locks now look like on the Ohio and Erie canal.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!! Love it Mary, You have the right spot, just for you:)
ReplyDeleteGod Bless.
It looks like a very lovely place! thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!!
ReplyDeleteHello dear Mary:-)
ReplyDeleteRemember me??? lol It's so hard catching up with everyone once you've been out of the loop for a while, isn't it!! It also doesn't help that whenever I do have some spare time, I'm playing Farm Town! Oops! lol
The park certainly is beautiful and it's no wonder you love living right across the street from it. We have the school field behind us and then there's a bush with a pond so I love having the open space to look at and walk:-)
We must definitely call each other, maybe next week? I'll email you first to find out when a good time is:-) This weekend we're going to an out of town wedding...it's just been one thing after another, no rest for the wicked! hehe xoxo
You are blessed to have the park so close. It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
