Update on Josh

Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, Mom went to see Josh. They gave him an hour's worth of therapy while she was there and told her that he would be moving into a room to either today or tomorrow if things continued to go well. Unfortunately that is not the case. For some reason that we don't know yet, Josh had a seizure late this afternoon, after Mom had left. We don't know much more than that, but I will post an update as soon as possible.

A family member has been causing a lot of problems and has been doing so for years. Apparently she's found this blog and I'm considering going private. Please email me if you would like to be invited to my private blog. All my friends and readers here are important to me. You have all been a great support in my life since I started my blog in September 2008. How sad that people ruin it for others.

Please continue to pray for Josh. Your loving kindness and support, along with the prayers for Josh are very much appreciated.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear that Josh had this setback.
I would really miss you if your blog went private and would like to be invited to see it. The problem is that private blogs don't update in my Google Reader, so I must depend on my brain remembering to check, and it's not dependable! :) (I still want to be invited)
Why do people have to be this way?

  4. My comment is the same as Mari's about your going private on your blog. I tend to lose those who go private. What harm could anyone do you because of your beautiful, faith filled, loving, well written blog? Most people like the one you describe only end up harming themselves.

    Prayers continue for Josh.

  5. I am so sorry to hear about Josh. I will pray for his recovery. I started my blog in Sept 2008, also. I am sorry to hear about the family problems, but, unfortunately, I understand completely. I would like to have your password if you go private.

I hate that you may have to go private, but I also understand...

  8. I hold Josh in my heart and in my prayers. I know what you are talking about when you say about some people spoiling things for others. I had that problem myself a couple of years ago.

Hang tight Mary, the preyer warriors are hard at work.

  9. You know I know what going private means - but I would definitely come over, private or public, because I know how sad it is to lose friends because of having to go private because of a pathetic family member!

  11. How is "That" person going to ruin your blog? Has she/he got your password to post bad thing? Then you need only to change your password.

If he is going to comment bad things, there are some sites that require your approval before the comment is posted. My site doesn't but some do.

Even if they post nasties, you can delete the post.

Will miss your site as I have been following you.

    Cheers and Happy easter.

    Praying for Josh

  15. It's sad that you feel the need to go private. I've read that you wanted me to email you...which I did about three days ago, and then tried again yesterday with no response from you yet. I don't know if you're getting my emails or not!! And, I don't know what else I can do.

I will miss your blog posting...but I can understand your feeling. Altho, I personally would just delete the messages...you have that power being the owner.

Mary, I do hope you have a blessed Easter!

  16. Happy Easter to you and yours, dear Mary!! Having had Corey home the last few days and making my Easter dinner yesterday, today I am relaxing and catching up with my blogging friends:-)

My prayers continue for Josh, that's so scary that he's had a seizure. Hopefully they will find out soon what caused it.

Leave it to a family member to give you problems with your blog! Sigh. Please send me your password to your new blog, you know that I want to continue following your posts:-) xoxo
