Monday, March 29

The weekend went by very slowly. The boys came on Saturday and that helped time move along. We went shopping to see if there were any clothes they'd like for Easter. We didn't find anything that they liked or needed.

Brandon is not a cloths shopper. Jordan on the other hand, is. When Jordan sees something he likes, I try to get it for him, as he is very picky about his clothes. Brandon not at all. I always take me with them if I'm buying clothes. Certain fabrics drive Brandon crazy, which is caused from the autism. He can't stand the feel of them on his skin, so there's no use buying them and torturing him. Jordan on the other hand is just plain fussy.

As far as an update on Josh, there is no change. I appreciate all your kind words, love, support and prayers.

  1. Sorry to hear that there is no change with Josh's condition, but maybe that's the silver lining...he isn't getting worse either. Prayer is powerful.

As for shopping, it's becoming a chore for me too...I have to have a certain color anymore, AND it no matter if dress, jeans, slack, capris and blouses, they must have pockets. And oftentimes I don't find that in clothes. LOL...I'm picky.

Hope your week ahead will be super Mary.

  2. I hope you will get some encouraging words about Josh soon. And as Anni says... at least he's not worse..

I've hated shopping for quite some time now... I just don't see anything that I like.

Hope you have a good day today. It's raining here and I'm taking mama to the eye doctor today. Her appointment is at 1pm... hope the rain is gone by then.

  3. Congrats on the 20 pounds - I'm anxious to weigh this next Saturday. It's been going really well for me, I feel.

Shopping is my least favorite thing. I've been looking for a new dress for myself, but not much is out there that is appropriate for this age!

    Have a good week, friend.

  8. Mary
I hope Josh is better and will make a full recovery. As for your Mom, it is hard for them to admit they cannot live alone any more. I am sure you will find a solution as you are a very smart lady. After boys and even girls get a certain age, it is always best to take them along when buying clothes. It is hard to believe the bunny is so near. Peace
