I enjoy participating in Thankful Thursday. These are the things I am thankful for this week.
1. For a beautiful autumn day - the fragrance of leaves, a little sun, a little cloud and for a little while, the soft drizzle of rain.
2. For the fact that my husband's sleep apnea has remained the same over the last two years. It is something that he will always have, but it hasn't gotten any worse.
3. I am thankful that my grandsons live close by and that I can spend time with them often.
4. For my neighbor who is a single woman and a great friend. We support each other through thick and thin and talk almost daily.
5. For the many blessings I've received this week from the friends I have made here.
For all these things I am thankful.
It sounds like your Thursday was lovely, and I hope your Friday is even better. ;-)

Thank you Diane. It was a good day today and the week has been a good one as well. Thanks for stopping by.

It is good to review our blessings isn't it. We might grumble less if we did that more often.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by my blog and leaving a comment. You asked "What did I think of the Throne Speech". Well I am glad we are not having another election. I am not sure that Canada should be in Afghanistan, rather have her looking out for her own borders. Kyoto, well how Canada stop all the pollution blowing over from our southern neighbours. Until all of North America work together it just won't happen. I believe we can't neglect global warming, it won't go away.
vic grace,
ReplyDeleteI feel pretty much the same way you do. I hope that there isn't another election. It's a huge expense that we don't need right now.
Thanks for dropping.
Hugs,
Mary

ReplyDeleteCan you point me to a couple of websites that discuss Asperger's? I am trying to read up on it and share the information with my co-teacher. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteOne of the best sites is Tony Attwoods. It is listed in my article.
This is another one:
http://www.udel.edu/bkirby/asperger/ Be sure to check the links in the left sidebar.
This one gives some great information as well:
http://www.aspergers.com/
Not sure if these links will work on here. If not, just open a new window and copy and paste.
If you need more information on Aspergers, be sure to let me know. I've been studying it for about 6 years.
Blessings,
Mary

Tina,
ReplyDeleteThe boys are a big part of my life. We love spending time together and we do such interesting things at the farm. This week was fairly quiet. On Tuesday it was windy and cold and Thursday it was sprinkling rain. The animals were taking shelter and there wasn't as much to do.
Always nice to see you here.
