Memory Verse Monday

Karen at Karen's Ramblings is once again hosting Memory Verse Monday.
The verse I have chosen for this week is:

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever.

This is so true. Each of us have burdens to bear but in all things we should be thankful. God is with us every step of the way - up hills and through dark valleys. Give thanks for what we are blessed with.

In other news, be sure to comment on one of my postings this week to have your name entered into the Christmas book draw. The information can be found here. If you'd like to tell others about it, feel free to post about it, but this is not a requirement for entering.

  1. Mary,

    That is a beautiful verse.

  2. Tina,

Thanks so much for your comments. I have your name in for the Christmas book draw.

    Smiles and hugs,

  3. I am getting really encouraged by all these verses! Just at the right time too. Daughter and I off to the Dr's shortly as we both have these throat infections that won't go (I'm sure my hubby would think it's because we girls talk too much!)

  4. That is a beautiful verse and we just all need to look around and be happy.
Those of us with depression just have to look harder and longer.
Peace be with you dear Mary.
I think I would enjoy that Bible game more than some kids.

  5. I agree with the others. What a lovely verse! As always, you brighten our day, Mary (and not just on Monday!)

  6. Thanks to all that left a message. I cherish each of you.

Karen, I'm glad the Memory Verses are encouraging you. Keep you eyes on heaven.

Lady Di, I have suffered from depression for years and yes, we do have to look and work a bit harder. I keep you in my prayers.

Michele, As always, you brighten my day. I'm glad that we can be a blessing to each other.

  7. A beautiful verse you chose...too often we forget to give Him thanks for everything He does for us. Thank you for reminding me of that, dear Mary! xox

  8. I love this verse! And thank you so much for the beautiful gift! I look forward to showing it to Biper tomorrow before school!
