It's Memory Verse Monday and Karen at Karen's Ramblings is our host. If you would like to participate, just follow the link to find out how.
It's been a while since I participated in Memory Verse Monday, but finally I'm getting back on track. This week I've chosen the following verse:
Matthew 18:19 (Whole Chapter) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
The reason for choosing this verse is because there are so many that are in need of being lifted up to the Lord in prayer. I often do prayer requests on my blog because I trust in God's Word and know how powerful prayer is. So let us pray together for those who are in need and lift them up. Miracles DO happen and I for one can attest to that. I have received miracles in my life and you can too. Just keep your eyes on God.

My great-nephew Griffyn. He has the croup rather badly and is having trouble breathing. He is 7 months old today and is having a hard time. His Mom is pregnant again and is so tired from being up with him. Please also pray for his Mom, Melissa, my niece.
Thank you all for your prayers. I know there are some powerful prayer warriors out there and these people are all in need of prayer. If you would like to be added to my prayer list, just leave a comment and I will make sure that you are added. Have a great and blessed week. ~Blessings, Mary~
Good Afternoon Mary,
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful and powerful verse. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. "THANK YOU" for also keeping my DH and his Uncle in your prayers as well. I haven't heard from my DH yet, but he will call me when he wakes up tho. I know I shouldn't worry about him, but it's so hard not too. Especially in weather conditions like that. One really has to watch out for the other driver. That is what I always worry about. I know too, that Prayer is Powerful and Miracles do happen. I've seen them happen myself. "THANK YOU" for keeping me on your prayer list. I really appreciate it very much. I am also keeping the other's you have listed on my prayer list as well. I will also be praying for your Great-Nephew and your Niece as well. I remember when our oldest daughter was a baby, she had ear infections alot. They didn't seem to start up until late at night and we would be up with her most of the night. It being late at night like that, we spent many a night in the ER as well. So, I know how she feels and what she is going thru. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Will do! take care Mary. Love, lori
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteMelissa and Griffyn spent 4 hours in the ER on Saturday. They told her to make sure she used the humidifer so the air in her apartment would be moist. Other than that, nothing. I know they don't want to give antibiotics, but he is really bad. I could hear him gasping for breath while talking to Melissa on the phone.
Praying for your financial situation and for the guys and they move their big rig along the byways.
Blessings,
Mary
Thanks, Lori. Appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Mary
You are just a sweetheart, you know it?
ReplyDeleteI got a little warm at the tea, but sat there and thought cool thoughts and settled myself...now I know there were people praying...THANK YOU!

I used to have that same picture of the little boy praying in my room. I always wondered why his pants kept falling off, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your meme about six quarky things about yourself. I must admit, I felt a little sick to my stomach when you said you ate pickle sandwiches.
I think the didja comes from being from Canada. ;-) My husband's family is from Michigan, and they say that *alot*. :)
We'll you have been tagged for a meme on my blog. Hope you can participate, but if you can't I completly understand. (((hugs)))

Hey Mary
ReplyDeleteI have been praying for some of these-I will raise the rest before our Father.
Sorry about the little on and his Mom. I know that has got to be rough.
Mommy,
ReplyDeleteBack then we were lucky to have pickle sandwiches. Times were hard and Dad made $48 a week. He raised three kids on that and though we never went without, sometimes we had pickle sandwiches or cold egg sandwiches for school lunches. We also thought it was a great treat to have breakfast for supper or friend bologna and potatoes. Those were the good old days and I wouldn't trade them for anything on earth. They gave us character and taught us to appreciate whatever we had. :-)
I have been over to check out the meme. I'll do it sometime this week.
Blessings,
Mary
Mary,

Sharon,
ReplyDeleteMelissa is pregnant as well and is due in July. She thinks she's tired now. Just wait. She will be exhausted looking after two babies one year apart.
