Aunt May passed on to her heavenly home this morning at approximately 10:25 am. She is resting peacefully with no more pain, tears or sorrow. May God bless her soul.
I am fine. Aunt May is finally at peace. Her family will gather together in a celebration of her life. I will post more details as arrangements are made.

ReplyDelete"There is a long and winding road along which each must go,
ReplyDeleteIt leads beyond the hills of time into the sunset's glow.
But only for a little while our loved one leaves our sight,
For just beyond the hills they wait in God's eternal light."
I don't know who wrote this but I wanted to send it to you and pray our Lord's loving comfort will surround all of May's loved ones at this time.
God bless all.
Love-Hugs & Prayers

ReplyDeleteDearest Mary,
ReplyDeleteI know the relief that you and the family feel now that Aunt May has finally gone Home...she will no longer know pain and suffering. Hold on tight to all the cherished memories you have of her and know that she's now smiling down at her loved ones. xoxo
It is so difficult when a loved one is ill, suffering, in pain and in need of the peace only death can bring because with that peace also comes a sadness at the loss and a sense of relief at the same time. Opposing emotions, for sure. But I know, you know, her entire family knows too I'm sure that she is in a far better place, transformed through the love of Christ into a new life.
ReplyDeletePeace, my dear friend -to you and your family.
I'm so sorry about your aunt. A celebration of life is a wonderful thing. She would be happy I'm sure. :)

ReplyDeleteHello dear friend.. I have been busy all day and just checking in .. Time to celebrate her life and rejoice that she is where we want to be...... I know that you sorrow along with her sister and other family but we do not sorrow as others ........ We have faith that life goes on with the Father..... It was a wonderful gift from the Father the time that you were able to spend with her..... such memories for the coming years.......
ReplyDeleteLove ya girl and I will be praying for you and your family the next few days...
Mary, I know its a sad time but what a celebration going on in heaven! Hugs my friend
ReplyDeleteI am glad that Aunt May is at peace and home with the Lord. We did the same thing when my mom died -- we celebrated her life rather than mourning her death. There was grief, of course, but the emphasis was on who she was and how she lived and touched us all. It was SUCH a blessing to hear people tell their stories about her. I will continue to pray for you and your family that you will find grace and peace during the times when the missing Aunt May gets to be harder as it all sinks in. God bless you.
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I am wishing you and your family peace and comfort each day, for Aunt May has her peace now in the arms of our Lord!!! My blessings to all of you this day. Baba
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry-but glad her suffering is over. Will continue to remember the rest of you in prayer.
ReplyDeleteWhen these things happen, there is always that mixture of sorrow and yet joy for them if they knew the Lord.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture...
No more pain...my I'm happy that your Aunt May is doing great now!! It is very hard for us as the family but for her just think how great she must be feeling!! WOW!!

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
ReplyDeleteI mean, what you say is valuable and everything. However imagine
if you added some great photos or video clips to give
your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this
blog could certainly be one of the greatest in its field.
Terrific blog!
