God Rest Her Soul

Aunt May passed on to her heavenly home this morning at approximately 10:25 am. She is resting peacefully with no more pain, tears or sorrow. May God bless her soul.

I am fine. Aunt May is finally at peace. Her family will gather together in a celebration of her life. I will post more details as arrangements are made.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for a peaceful passing for Aunt May. Your kind words, loving support and friendship is very much appreciated. ~Blessings, Mary~

  8. "There is a long and winding road along which each must go,

It leads beyond the hills of time into the sunset's glow.

But only for a little while our loved one leaves our sight,

For just beyond the hills they wait in God's eternal light."

I don't know who wrote this but I wanted to send it to you and pray our Lord's loving comfort will surround all of May's loved ones at this time.
    God bless all.
    Love-Hugs & Prayers

  14. It is so difficult when a loved one is ill, suffering, in pain and in need of the peace only death can bring because with that peace also comes a sadness at the loss and a sense of relief at the same time. Opposing emotions, for sure. But I know, you know, her entire family knows too I'm sure that she is in a far better place, transformed through the love of Christ into a new life.
Peace, my dear friend -to you and your family.

  23. I am glad that Aunt May is at peace and home with the Lord. We did the same thing when my mom died -- we celebrated her life rather than mourning her death. There was grief, of course, but the emphasis was on who she was and how she lived and touched us all. It was SUCH a blessing to hear people tell their stories about her. I will continue to pray for you and your family that you will find grace and peace during the times when the missing Aunt May gets to be harder as it all sinks in. God bless you.

  32. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. However imagine
if you added some great photos or video clips to give
your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this
blog could certainly be one of the greatest in its field.
    Terrific blog!
