Niagara Safari Part Three

This is the last of the Safari Niagara photos. We saw a lot of different animals and really had a nice day.
The monkeys put on quite a show. This one had a baby, but kept it very much protected and away from the crowd most of the time.
This guy was swinging around the cage. Another great show to watch. They were also making a lot of noise.

This macaw was beautiful. He didn't seem to be at all shy.

And in a cage nearby was this beauty.

This lynx was pacing his cage. I'm not sure what was up, but many of the cats were pacing.

A lemur. I was first introduced to these guys when Brandon was two and watched Kratt's Kreatures and Zamboomafoo.

The cygnets were quite big. These are mute swan cygnets. They will eventually be white and have orange beaks.

The bald eagles were beautiful. If you enlarge you can see them much better.
And that is it for photos from this daytrip. It was a lot of fun and I recommend it to those of all ages. Just be sure not to put three in a paddleboat.

  1. Mary-I've greatly enjoyed reading about your Niagara Safari visit. Looks like you all had lots of fun. The paddle boat inccident got my dander up too-and I wasn't even there : ) She should have known and acted better!

  2. You take wonderful pictures.... I would like to have something like that close to us.... What a grandmother! AND like Denise, I love the Lemur.......

  3. You take the best pictures! I haven't been over this week so I scrolled down and looked/read all the older post! What a nice day you all enjoyed except for the deal with the paddle boats!

I was busy all week with medicare talking on the phone with them about Nancy. That can really wear you out!!
    Hugs Grams

  4. Such a great trip!!!

    Hope all is well

    Love, Jess

  5. Those monkeys drove us nuts with their noise! lol It's unbelievable how loud they can be, isn't it! Ever since I can remember I've loved visiting zoos and even now, it's a thrill to do so. May we never outgrow it:-) Very much enjoyed your pictures, dear Mary. xoxo

  6. Good, happy afternoon to you sweet Mary!!! I so love the first photo AND the lemur. It's too bad they have to be caged. I know they do, but it's a shame. Yet, zoos and animal parks are so much fun to visit.

I think we have a possibility of a storm's getting mighty black and the clouds are churning. Hope some rain comes out of it....HERE!! [LOL]

But I gotta get things shut down to be safe, I know there is electricity in the air and I don't wanna lose my CPU!

Hope you're having a great afternoon.

  7. I just read the last two posts - DC would have kept me away from that girl, too! I'm afraid I would have had a few choice words for her. I am glad they called you back and hope she is rightly handled.

    Looks like a fun day!

  8. Mary, thanks for sharing your trip with us I really enjoyed it.

Think I am going to have to convince Harvey to take a trip to Ontario.

    God bless.

  9. Do the monkeys feel cold in winter?

  10. Looks like all had a grand time at the park. Thanks for sharing. Peace

  11. Those animals are neat. That lynx just looks like a long legged kitty cat.
