A dear friend that I met just this week left me a gift of a treat this morning. I was to link back to her site and can't remember the HTML code to do so. Hootin' Anni, thank you for making my day brighter.
You can visit Anni's blog by following the link in "My Favorite Blogs."
Thanks, Anni, your thoughtfulness is much appreciated.
PS. Anni gave me instructions on how to link the graphic to her site. Just click on the treat to visit her blog.
I'm glad you like it. Make sure you be careful...Dentists love us eating the caramel apples! *giggles*
ReplyDeleteTo make a link. In your blog entry from your blog's dashboard click on 'posts'...then open the blog entry you want to edit. Once in the edit mode, you'll see a tab that says "COMPOSE" --it may be already opened or it may not....if it's opened then do this? Take the name or words you want linked and drag your mouse over it/them. With them still highlighted, find just above you, the "LINK" icon [it looks like a ball and chain] Click on it. Then, copy and paste the url [if the case may be, my blog url ---then PASTE the url in the little bar space, and click okay. Then republish your entry. It should now be linked.
If you have problems, just let me know. As I love to work on html/blog coding.
well....dang, I failed to add the part if the tab "compose" ISN'T opened already, then just click on the tab.
ReplyDeleteYou can do all the same from the "edit html" tab also...there should be a 'ball and chain" link icon there also.
Anni,
ReplyDeleteYour instructions were perfect and my treat is now linked to your blog. Thanks so much for your help. Your kindness is very much appreciated. You've made my day.

Don't you just love candied apples at Halloween. I miss making them with all the kids gone. I used to make them for all the kids in our local school. (about 50 children across 8 grades). A young girl, who was a friend of mine, used to deliver them and collected the high praise.
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful graphic!! Sweet and delicious. Candied apples sure bring back great memories. :-)
hugs,
Tina
Phil,
ReplyDeleteCandied apples are delicious. I always looked forward to visiting the neighbor down the road on Halloween night. She handed out candied apples, fudge and caramel popcorn balls - all homemade. Loved it all.
