The Computer Swallowed Grandma

This must be the day for emails that catch my attention. I usually don't bother much with these, but I got a real laugh out of this one.

The computer swallowed Grandma.

Yes, honestly it's true.

She pressed 'control' and 'enter'

And disappeared from view.

It devoured her completely!

The thought just makes me squirm.

She must have caught a virus

Or been eaten by a worm.

I've searched through the recycle bin

And files of every kind;

I've even used the Internet,

But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Jeeves

My searches to refine.

The reply from him was negative,

Not a thing was found 'online'.

So, if inside your 'Inbox',

My Grandma you should see;

Please 'Copy', 'Scan' and 'Paste' her

And send her back to me !

  4. Gram,

    I have a Treasures to Me blog. I only write on it occasionally and only about things that I treasure, both in my life and in nature. Things that are important to me.

    I'm glad to see you here. I always enjoy visiting with you.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  6. mountain mama,

    I found it hilarious. I could just see my grandsons coming up with something like that. If they call and I'm not home, they leave a message asking me to call as soon as I get in. Then they want to know where I've been. When they want Grandma, they want her immediately. LOL

    Take care and thanks for visiting. I always enjoy your comments.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  13. Mari-Nancy,

    I'm afraid I can't help you there. I'm not completely computer illiterate, but don't know much about them. I can do all the basics but I'm still learning. Hope you get it all worked out.
