My Latest Meme Tag

blueblue at A Spot With Pots has tagged me for a Picture meme. The meme originated with Kate at Our Red House.

The rules are simple: post a picture of yourself on your blog. As some may feel uncomfortable posting a current photo, a baby or childhood picture is fine. Post the picture, tell us the story behind it, copy the logo, and tag three others (without forgetting to tell them that they have been tagged!)
I am going to do a random tag out of my comments. Here are the winners:

Love Sows Seeds

Paula at On A Rainy Night

Yellow Rose Arbor

Be sure to check out these ladies' sites. They are all wonderful.

I'm not a very photogenic person, so I hope no one was expecting too much. LOL

Of course no one has to participate that doesn't feel comfortable doing so. If anyone that visits would like to participate, you are already tagged by me, so feel free to do so.

  3. Ladies,

I would use this photo, but am not sure how to add it to my profile. I'm going to have to go exploring again.

Thank you both for your nice comments. It's always nice to get a visit from you both.

    Blessings for a great week.

  5. I've always thought it was important to post a current picture of ourselves somewhere in our side bar or post a picture from time to time. It helps to keep it "real" and people know this is a real person they are communicating with, not some weirdo...now some of my pictures lately, they may think we have a real nut job here...lol!

So nice to put a face with a name, I'm glad you did this meme!

  6. Girl it is good to put a picture to words.
You know it will make it so much easier to find each other when we get to heaven. ;)

  7. Susie,

Glad you enjoy having a face to put with my writings. It does make a difference to have a face to go along with the words.

    Denise,

Thank you so much. I haven't seen a photo of you yet. Hopefully, you will decide to post one.

    T*mmy,

I must come over to your blog and search for a photo of you. I have so many beautiful online friends that it would be nice to know what they all look like.

    Sharon,

I'm not sure that we will look the same when we get to heaven. We will be so much more beautiful but God's Word tells us that we will recognize each other.

Blessings to each of you. I consider you all beautiful online friends.

I really like your ideas about honouring God this Christmas. I'll try to think of an idea to add to your list.

  10. Hi Mary, thank you so much for asking me to join in this meme. I'm really touched but I'm afraid I cannot participate as I agreed with my hubby that my blog would be totally anonymous.

But thank you again. I hope you'll be able to visit my blog again.

    Blessings :-)

  13. love sows seeds,

I certainly understand. I guess because I write web content and my name has been out there for so many years that I forget about the cautions we should be taking.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  14. Mary, thank you for choosing me for your meme! I have added it to today's post.

I always like to see the face of the people who blog. I feel I know and trust people better when I see a face on their blog! I don't know how to add photos to my profile either. I'm trying to learn!

  15. Mary,

You are a wonderful, lovely lady! This is a cute idea. I have to admit that I would rather be behind the camera instead of in front of it. LOL Seriously though, coming from a small town, in a small state, with an unusal name, I have never been comfortable posting photos of myself or my family. But I will see if I can dig up an old one - that way the me of today would be unrecognizable. LOL

    Hugs,
    Tina

  17. Katherine,

I wrote to Diane and she told me how to add the photo to my profile. I will be over to explain it.

  18. Tina,

Do you realize we've known each other for nine years and I don't believe I've ever seen a photo of you. I am usually the one behind the camera also, so there's not many photos of me. I cropped this one from one that was taken of the boys and me at Mom's 80th birthday.

Thanks for dropping by. I look forward to your photo.

    Hugs,
    Mary
